The benefits of nature play

What were your fondest memories of childhood? Do many of those memories involve being outdoors?

There is now more research being published that is looking at the positive impacts of playing outside. Nature Play WA has highlighted the role of unstructured play in the development of a fulfilling childhood (and I suggest that it is just as important in adulthood):
